The organizers of the BBNaija show have managed to wow the viewers at every given opportunity, however, nobody warned the viewers of the shock this week’s live evictions will bring, as Maria is evicted from the show.
Before going into the day’s business, Ebuka started the eviction show by asking Liquorose why she didn’t pick her love interest, Emmanuel to be her Deputy Head of House and as expected, she said she didn’t want him spending the night in the HOH lounge with someone else. According to her, he didn’t want that either.
Moving on to the business of the day, the six housemates who were up for eviction – Maria, Pere, JMK, Cross, Queen and Sammie, were asked to stand up for the eviction process to kick off.
The first Housemate to leave the show, and the 7th housemate to be evicted was JMK. When she got to the stage with Ebuka, she said she thinks that “this is not a loss and she’s happy with how far she’s come.”
Speaking about whom she’d miss the most, she said she would miss “Angel the most, Whitemoney and his food, Sammie and the house in general”.
JMK didn’t need to miss Sammie so much as he became the next housemate to exit the Big Brother house.
According to Sammie, he saw his eviction coming. He said he and Angel are “just vibing” currently and he’ll miss her the most. He’s also open to pursuing things with her outside the house but he’s yet to make a decision on that. He wants to first complete higher education and get a degree, then to film school and then to make movies.
Then the shocker for the night comes. Maria is evicted from the show, as the third housemate to leave the BBNaija house for the night. Everyone inside and outside the house was surprised by the eviction, including Maria.
Maria said she misses home because she hasn’t seen her family since the end of 2019, however, it wasn’t reason enough to want to leave the show. About Pere, ]she said she really likes him as a friend and there’s nothing to pursue outside the house. Maria will be relocating to Lagos and will set up a business in Abuja.
